Volcano eruption in Spain’s Canary Islands forces thousands to evacuate
A volcano eruption in the Canary Islands that began Sunday has forced more than 6,000 tourists and residents to evacuate one of the islands of the Spanish enclave just off the coast of West Africa, officials said Tuesday.
