Volodymyr Zelensky has marked the one-year anniversary of the Ukraine war with a message of defiance to his people, in which he declared"we will defeat everyone".In a video titled"the year of invincibility", the Ukrainian President recalled his address to Ukrainians in the moments before Russia launched its full-scale invasion.
"The longest day of our lives. The most difficult day in our recent history. We woke up early and haven’t slept since." "The first month of the war. And the first turning point in the war. The first changes in the world's perception of Ukraine. It did not fall in three days," he said. In recent weeks, President Putin has intensified his push to seize the entire region of Donbas in south-eastern Ukraine, with fears a more ambitious offensive looms to mark the anniversary.
