There are 10 umpires working the Canadian Little League Championship this week in Regina, including a husband and wife duo.

Brown, attending his 14th Canadian championship, has twice worked the World Series. He will handle the assignments for Wednesday’s semi-finals and the next day’s third-place and championship games. He debriefs the umpires after each game.
“They take time off work to be here. It’s all volunteer. We give them a hotel room and buy two meals a day, but they pay their way here and any extra expenses.”
