Christian Schools Australia Public Policy Director Mark Spencer says recommendations made for Western Australia’s anti-discrimination laws to help protect LGBT students and teachers, among doing other things, will put people of faith “backwards”.

The state’s law reform commission has made 163 recommendations to ensure the laws are fair and effective but there is concern from some the final report tramples on fundamental religious freedoms. “Religious freedom is a fundamental human right … but in this report, the Western Australia Law Reform Commission has trampled on some of those rights and has simply failed to engage with the concerns of faith groups,” Mr Spencer told Sky News Australia.

He said it has also failed to implement some of the “most modest proposals” around “ensuring the objects reflect the need to balance human rights”.

Mr Horowitz travelled to the West Bank and interviewed Palestinians to see what they think about gay people and then played that footage back to progressive Americans. He said 'every single person' he spoke to 'changed' their pro-Palestine position – with one American questioning the accuracy of the left-wing narrative on the issue. 'People are less jaded than you think and when confronted with facts and you have them captured in the sense they're now listening to you ... you can change people's perceptions once the facts, the true facts, are given to them,' Mr Horowitz said.

'After years of pushing crazy Russian collusion conspiracies, of burying legitimate stories the Democrats did not want covered and generally being a North Korean style propagandist for the Left, Stelter got his marching orders from CNN this week,' she said. Ms Panahi also said CNN's coverage of breaking news events has contributed to the 'historic lows' reached in Americans' trust in the media.

The world's largest hydrogen plant is set to be built in South Australia. The government-funded project has attracted interest from 60 organisations around Australia and globally. Mr Malinauskas said the plant is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2025. He said it will alleviate pressure on the state's energy system but 'is not going to solve every problem'. 'It is an ambitious policy – it's not without a degree of risk in a policy sense but also in a technical sense,' he told Sky News Australia. 'But everything that has happened since our election four-five months ago, has actually given me even greater confidence that our ambitions are able to be realised – principally because of the international interest.'
