A Western Australian Casino regulator has approved the acquisition of Crown Resorts Perth by American equity giant Blackstone.
The $8.9 billion deal was conditionally approved to ensure the states Gaming and Wagering Commission maintains oversight of the licensee.
The acquisition follows extensive controversy at the Crown resorts over money laundering and links to organised crime.
