Police are investigating after eight young cattle were shot and tortured on a farm near Gingin, in WA's Wheatbelt.Lancelin Police are calling for witnesses and video from the area, while the family has offered $20,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to a conviction.A Wheatbelt farming family is offering a $20,000 reward to anyone who can help find the people who shot and tortured eight cattle on their property.

"Obviously what's happened traumatic to the point they're willing to starve and dehydrate themselves to hide." Ms Manson said she and her parents searched the paddock and found bodies of young cows with gunshot wounds."It was basically like a big murder scene." Ms Manson said some of the surviving cattle were also tortured, and had injuries including missing tails and ears.The family are still recovering, a month after discovering and burying the eight young animals.She said the family was offering a significant sum of money to anyone who helped solve the case, because of the violent nature of the incident.
