A small town in Western Australia will temporarily ban the sale of energy drinks to people under the age of 18.
Bridgetown GP Dr Sarah Youngson said local children being “erratic” and “impulsive” at libraries and skateparks seemed to be “linked” to increased consumption of energy drinks.
“Which is amazing given that it has the potential to impact on them … but they’re so community-minded and can see the benefits of participating in the study,” Dr Youngson told Sky News Australia.
