Wages growth in Australia slows to 3.5 per cent over the past year, according to official data, still outpacing inflation to result in modest real wage increases.
Wages growth slowed dramatically from 4.1 per cent over the year to June to 3.5 per cent in the year to September.Wages growth in Australia has slowed to 3.5 per cent over the past year, according to September quarter data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
That was down from 4.1 per cent wage growth over the year to June, with quarterly wages growth easing to 0.8 per cent in the September quarter.
