Premier League: The Reds are now eight points clear at the top after fighting back against Southampton, while Man Utd settled for a draw against Ipswich Town.
Liverpool extend lead in title race ! | 02:38Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane told an Ipswich Town fan to “wait in the car park ” after he was fed up with the heavy abuse he was copping from supporters of the newly promoted side during their one-all draw with United.
Keane was renowned for his feistiness on the pitch and showed he’s lost none of his white line fever when in an ad break - he had been part of the panel analysing the game on the pitch after the final whistle - he took his chance to hit back at one fan in particular.“Wait in the car park and we’ll discuss it,” said the Irishman adding, “I can’t hear you... wait in the car park”.
It is the not the first time the 53-year-old has been involved in confrontations with fans while working for Sky Sports. After the exchange of words with the fan, Keane got straight back to business dissecting the “big problems” new Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim has to solve as they sit in 12th place on the Premier League table.
