An emotional Kevin Walters has fronted the media to confirm his time at the Brisbane Broncos has come to an end after four years as the head coach.
It was revealed on Thursday night the club had terminated the contract with the 56-year-old effective immediately after what was believed to be a mutual agreement.

They have been really terrific for me. I want to thank everyone else whose been part of the journey here," he said.Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy earlier in the press conference said the club and Walters had agreed his time had"come to an end" at Brisbane.
"I don't think unless you're in these four walls people see how much blood, sweat and toil goes into it. We know the toll it can take and the significant pressure that does exist with being the head coach of the Brisbane Broncos," Mr Donaghy added.
