In flash of memory, you remember where you last saw something like this: the centre of Barcelona, on La Rambla. You can’t help but feel like we’ve done it a little better; it’s really brought life back to the city.This might sound like a fantasy, but it’s completely possible: Melbourne can have this, and not just on Flinders Lane. Some of the best opportunities to create inviting pedestrian spaces are in the city’s “Little” streets, where quick wins really are possible.
