A drug dealer who was sentenced to 15 years in prison is evading justice and could be hiding in Preston.
Christopher Chambers was sentenced in his absence by a judge at Durham Crown Court last month. It follows a conviction for the supply of Class A drugs Lancashire Constabulary today said the 31-year-old is wanted on a crown court warrant and is believed to be in the Preston area. He is described as 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and with brown hair.Officers have released a mugshot picture of Chambers on social media as part of an appeal. They are urging anyone with information or sightings to contact police.
A post on the Preston Police Facebook page said: "Have you seen Christopher Chambers? Chambers, 31, is wanted on a crown court warrant and is believed to be in the Preston area. "In June, he was sentenced in his absence to 15 years imprisonment by a judge at Durham Crown Court for the supply of Class A drugs."Any sightings of him or information as to where he might be, please call 01772 209940 or 101, or email [email protected]"
