Police arrested two fugitives in remote bushland near Balladonia Roadhouse, southeast Western Australia, after they were involved in a violent kidnapping in New South Wales. The pair was charged with attempted murder and extradited to NSW.

A dramatic arrest occurred in southeast Western Australia involving a man and woman, wanted for a violent kidnapping in New South Wales . The pair were apprehended in remote bushland when their car broke down on a lonely bush track next to Balladonia Roadhouse, approximately 700 kilometers east of Perth.

They were found with a loaded sawn-off rifle and are among three individuals sought for the November 16 abduction, where a 32-year-old man was allegedly taken at gunpoint from his Port Macquarie home and shot multiple times in the arms and legs. Both are now charged with attempted murder and extradited to New South Wales for further proceedings
