Promoters of the Bruce Springsteen concert in Belfast have warned customers about purchasing tickets from resale sites, as they cannot guarantee their validity. Tickets for the event are being advertised on third-party sites for prices ranging from £154 to £942, well above the original cost. Aiken Promotions, the event's promoters, have urged fans to only buy tickets from Ticketmaster, the official seller.
A warning has been issued after Bruce Springsteen tickets for Belfast have appeared on resale sites for over £900. The Boss is set to rock the stage at the Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast this summer when he brings his world tour to Northern Ireland on May 9. With the event selling out, it is no surprise that fans are eager to turn to reselling sites in the hope of grabbing a ticket for the unmissable show.
However, promoters of the event Aiken Promotions have warned customers to only purchase tickets from Ticketmaster, the official seller for the show, as they cannot confirm the validity of tickets appearing on third-party sites. A spokesperson for the promotions company said that tickets are being advertised on sites from £154 to £942, well above the original cost of the general admission tickets. The statement issued on behalf of Aiken Promotions said: "It has come to our attention that tickets for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in Boucher Playing Fields, Belfast, are being advertised on third party websites such as Viagogo ranging from £154-£942. We have no way of confirming the validity of these tickets as Viagogo is a third-party website. Ticketmaster is the official ticket seller for this event. Please do not purchase tickets from unofficial sources including websites as these tickets will not guarantee you access to the concert.
