An emailed release inviting media to a zoom briefing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday tried to be coy about the county’s worst-kept secret, saying only that Sellers would be making “a major announcement about his plans for the future.” But a large red and grey logo at the top of the release made the announcement for him:

“Brad Sellers for County Executive,” it reads. Underneath in smaller letters it says, “Paid for by Committee to Elect Brad Sellers.” The top half of a news release inviting media for "a major announcement" by Warrensville Heights Mayor Brad Sellers included a red and grey logo that reads "Brad Sellers for County Executive."
