The SeaEagles have advised Fonua-Blake, and his manager that this matter needs to be resolved promptly so that all parties can plan for the future.

Addin Fonua-Blake's"desire to relocate out of Sydney with his young family" at the end of 2020 has put the Tongan international on the market for the seven non-Sydney clubs. In a statement released by Manly on Wednesday morning

The club has stressed to Fonua-Blake and his management that the club wants a resolution as soon as possible.Fonua-Blake is believed to be earning around $600,000 this year at the Sea Eagles. The club's 2021 location remains unknown at this point due to travel restrictions around COVID-19, with the Central Coast and Redcliffe presenting as the Australian-based options for the Warriors next season.

It is not known if Manly has any interest in the Samoan international, with Afoa sidelined since February due to an ACL rupture. The club already has several well-paid players already on their books in that position including Matt Lodge, Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan, Thomas Flegler, Joe Ofahengaue and Pangai.
