Warriors, Wizards To Play Two Preseason Games In Japan - RealGM Wiretap
The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards will play two 2022 preseason games in Japan. The two teams will play on Friday, September 30 and Sunday, October 2 at the Saitama Super Arena to open the preseason.
This is the first visit to Japan for either team. The two games will mark the 15th and 16th NBA games played in the country. Due to their success in recent years, and the presence of superstar Stephen Curry, the Warriors are one of the more popular teams globally. The Wizards currently roster the NBA's only Japanese player in Rui Hachimura.
