Ben’s Chili Bowl, a famous hot dog joint, reported when the coronavirus first hit the nation, business went down 90 per cent overnight and is now back to 50 per cent.
As the US election looms closer, people have returned to the city bringing their political views. Washington D.C. has always leaned Democrat, with no Republican presidential contender ever winning one of the three electoral college votes in the region.
