Campaigners say they won't back down in their push to receive compensation for all 3.6 million women affected
Women will not 'roll over' in their push for a compensation scheme if the Government refuses to set one up, Waspi campaigners have said. Frances Neil, a former primary school headteacher from Southend-on-Sea who was 59 when she found out her state pension age was being pushed back from 60 to 65, told i that there should be 'proper compensation' with 'something for everyone affected'.
It made life so much more stressful, and more of a financial struggle than it should have been.
