While speaking with CNN’s Dana Bash, Schwarzenegger expressed concern for a lack of addressing the roots of why Jan. 6 happened.“The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the insurrection that this is very dangerous,” Schwarzenegger said. “It is a wake-up call to let people know, you have to take this seriously. Not just like let’s get those right wingers, put them to jail. No. This is much more than that.
“My father was, and so many other millions of men were, sucked into a hate system through lies and deceit. And so, we have seen where that leads,” Schwarzenegger said of his father who was a Nazi.
