She added,"Again, we didn't do it on our own. We did it in a ... in a ... clearly, in, in, in step with Canadia." “I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object,” Trudeau said on Twitter.
It was a"small, cylindrical" object flying at a"high-altitude" of about 40,000 feet and approximately 100 miles from the Canada-U.S. border. NORAD had detected its presence Friday night over Alaska as it crossed into Canadian airspace.
