US president-elect Donald Trump is speaking at the Americans for Prosperity Gala.

“They said the ‘most consequential election’ – I love that word, it’s a beautiful word – most consequential election in the last 129 years," he said. “So we swept all swing states, we won the popular vote – oh, I love that.”He also celebrated the Republicans keeping control of the House after securing 218 seats.
