Watch Paul Wall, Prairie View A&M band put on the most Houston halftime show at Texans game
at the rodeo, the local rap icon returned to the stadium and teamed up with Prairie View A&M's Marching Storm band to produce the most Houston halftime performance any NFL crowd has ever seen.
NFL halftimes are short, so Wall and the Marching Storm only got five minutes, but they absolutely made the most of it. With the band lined up to spell H-Town across the field, Paul Wall, wearing a white Texans jersey, stepped on a small stage at midfield and delivered four of the best verses in his extensive discography. He started with a bit of his 2007 hit “Break 'Em Off,” then went into “Sittin’ Sideways” before giving the people what they really want: His verse from the 2005 Houston classic “Still Tippin’.
He did all that and still had time for part of “Grillz,” the 2005 song he did with Nelly, which earned Paul Wall a Grammy nomination.
