Watch: Survival Show Group Member Steps Into The Spotlight On “The King Of Mask Singer”
During the September 10 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, eight new contestants stepped up to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.
In the first match-up of Round 1, “Steamed Clams” and “Sauna” went head-to-head with a duet version of The Nuts’ “Love’s Fool.” As soon as “Steamed Clams” entered the stage, the celebrity panelists marveled at his impressive height and physique, wondering aloud whether he was a model.Although the panelists praised both contestants for their singing, it was ultimately Sauna that won the round. Steamed Clams then remained on stage to perform a soulful cover of Lee Moon Sae’s “Love Always Runs Away,” taking off his mask halfway through the song to reveal his identity.
