Tegan and Sara melds together vintage home video footage in the lyric video for 'Hey, I'm Just Like You'
gifted the world with another surprise on Friday : the lyric video for their new song “Hey, I’m Just Like You.” In the clip, the twins meld together vintage home video footage of themselves as teenagers while delivering the song’s spunky, relatable lyrics.
“Hey, I’m just like you/ A little messed up and blue/ Hey, I’m just like you/ Not sure what the fuck I’m to do/ We’re headstrong tonight / Racing through the streets ‘til we fly/ Gold colored prisms of light / Headstrong tonight,” the twins sing over gently plucked guitar before their signature drums and synths kick in.Hey, I’m Just Like You
