Mr Andrews said people need to ensure water is thoroughly boiled for all purposes, including making ice, cooking and cleaning food.Problems with filtration systems following a severe storm meant more than 100 postcodes were cut off from safe drinking water.Just before noon today, water quality was deemed safe in Bayswater, Belgrave, Belgrave Heights, Belgrave South, Boronia, Ferntree Gully, Knoxfield, Lysterfield, Selby, Tecoma, The Basin, Tremont, Upper Ferntree Gully, Upwey and Wantirna.
