Water works cause major delays and bus diversion
It is thought to be shut between the junctions of Ashfields and Heather Lane.Affinity Water says it is carrying out essential maintenance while Sullivan Buses has tweeted that it is water main repairs.

Image: Google Maps Among the roads affected have been the A41 North Western Avenue towards The Dome roundabout, Courtlands Drive and Ashfields, and High Road and Aerodrome Way from Leavesden towards Watford.
Sullivan Buses says buses are being diverted via Ashfields, Courtlands Drive, Gammons Lane and Leggatts Way .Meanwhile, more Affinity Water roadworks in Hempstead Road, near Langley Road, is now due to finish tomorrow rather than today.
