This year, the customer service supervisor with London Underground, is running for Hertfordshire-based charity Willow that supports 16–40-year-olds who are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.He has already raised £1,343 of his £2,000 target.Paul, a married father of two, said: “Training was hard this year, but I will get round the course no problem, even if I have to crawl.”

Willow was founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, as a lasting memorial to their daughter, Anna, who died of cancer aged 31.Whilst a young person is dealing with the worry and stress of their illness, medication and hospital appointments, Willow is dedicated to helping those suffering to take some much-needed time out and to have a special experience, such as a day out or a personalised gift box.
