All food will be half price to celebrate the reopening!
The fish and chip shop had to move from its old location as part of the Meriden Regeneration Project.Co-owner Donald Langford said he was happy to be reopening the shop.“There are some real characters that I’ve missed. It will be nice to see them back in the shop.He added he hopes his shop will be different to others in the area.
Mr Langford said: “I think I try to be different to all the norms. Nowadays wherever you go, it’s the same long piece of tail cod.Mr Langford said gluten free options will also be brought back on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays because it proved popular with customers in the past. He said: “I started doing it for my wife, but then we had people coming from 10 miles to buy our food.“The good thing is that someone can come in and buy one gluten free option and the rest of the family can buy the other options.”The fish bar was initially expected to reopen in October 2021,To help with the renovation and the costs, Ferhat Cicek became a co-owner of the shop with Mr Langford.
