Marcella even says that some of their early invoices have the reference, 'Temple of Doom' written on. Noting a gap in the market and a lust to own a soft play centre, Marcella and her husband took on the task to give local families a place where they can eat, relax and let their children play, all for affordable prices.
Marcella told LancsLive: "It felt like it took longer, we were hoping for sooner but there were some obstacles and issues we didn't foresee." When they were about ready for the public, Temple of Fun had a soft opening, from a golden ticket competition where 200 people were chosen at random to have free entry to the centre.
