Blacklock followed Broncos legend Steve Renouf and St Kilda's Robert Muir as a former footballer opening up about racism within team environments during their playing days.
Blacklock is one of the most successful players in the history of the joint venture and scored 121 tries during his top grade career, which spanned the Roosters, St George and St George Illawarra. "I've kept this secret for all these years," he said. "But the reason I lost my passion for the Dragons and left the club was because of racism.
