Epidemiologist Mary-Louise McLaws, an advisor to WHO on the coronavirus crisis, said the threat of an influenza outbreak meant"we are fighting a war on many fronts". Both viruses shared identical symptoms and would create a need for fairly healthy patients to be put through a battery of tests.
