The Prime Minister has given permission for the Australian Federal Police to hold a press conference on Friday to reveal details surrounding the Medibank hacker's identity.

Picture: NCA NewsWire / Nikki Short It follows the release of sensitive information on Thursday, which included the names, addresses and medical procedures relating to pregnancy terminations.
"The fact that information was published going to very personal health details of Australian citizens is disgusting, and something that is I think, just totally reprehensible," he told ABC Radio ahead of his nine-day tour to Asia for crucial meetings. Medibank has followed government advice and refused to pay the ransom, but chief executive David Koczkar on Friday warned the hackers will continue to release customer data each day.
