House Of The Dragon episode seven is full of jaw-dropping moments, but it’s laying the groundwork for one epic series ending – these are the main talking points.
Alicent is clearly annoyed by the fact that Viserys chooses to ignore the true paternity of Rhaenyra’s children, but in this episode, the feud takes a more sinister turn. Because of the way Alicent has spoken about Rhaenyra in front of her own children, they have adopted her nasty streak.
“Who spoke these lies to you?” the King questions his son. Aemond looks to his mother but says it was Aegon. “Everyone knows – just look at them,” Aegon simply states. After criticising the King so publically, she follows up with: “There is a debt to be paid. I shall have one of her son’s eyes in return.”Although the King attempts to quell her anger, she continues: “If the King will not seek justice, the Queen will. Ser Criston … bring me the eye of Lucerys Velaryon.”
