West Coast footy boss Don Pyke says the club hopes to keep Harley Reid “for as long as we possibly can” just days out from the first chance to lock the prized pick in for another year.When asked if the Eagles would look to lock Reid in for another year immediately or wait for the ability to sign him up on a long-term deal , Pyke said the club wanted to see the teen to put pen to paper.
“We’re aware of the timeline and we’re aware it’s Round 6. We’re not sitting on our hands, let’s put it that way,” he said on“We’ll talk about that with his management. It really comes down to what he’d be comfortable with.“He loves his footy, loves playing, you can see he loves competing, loves winning.
