We should be doing more': Liberal candidate Dave Sharma breaks ranks on climate change
Larger text size Very large text size Liberal hopeful Dave Sharma has demanded the Coalition do more to tackle climate change, arguing Australia must put itself in a "credible" position to convince other countries of the merits of stronger international action.

Asked what sort of international targets Australia should be pushing for, Mr Sharma did not name a figure but said: "We have to start looking at the next period and how we’re going to meet the targets we set ourselves to limit global warming to 2 degrees Celsius.
