The newest cafe to open in Shawlands also happens to be the rudest and is claiming to have a bathroom made just for those 18 and over. Glasgow Live had to go see the NSFW space for themselves.

As Glaswegians we all love a bit of crude humour and one cafe in the city's southside has fully embraced that.

The venue screams Rude Cookies with the typical pink interior, quirky disco ball light and unashamed neon slogan on the wall. If you want to visit somewhere edgy and different for a coffee and cake it doesn't get much better. However, the door transports you into a world where the walls are adorned with paintings and images of a NSFW nature and door handles are shaped like a penis. After numerous photos within the bathroom I realised I could maybe use three publicly. On the wall sits a lovely golden hand kindly holding the loo roll and the trademark pink is still present.

There is a certain elegance to it which also sweeps throughout the cafe itself. Of course I wouldn't recommend the cafe for a family outing but if you fancy something fresh, vibrant and a hilarious backdrop for a sweet bite to eat, Rude Cookies is the place to be.
