Laura and Adam Perona-Wright's two-year-old son Vinnie received 'hundreds of bites' on 'every area of his little body' during a £728 Halloween-themed stay at the holiday giant's Minehead resort.

The couple said their son Vinnie was eaten by bed bugs at the Minehead resortA family who spent £700 on a Butlin's 'Spooktober' mini-break suffered a nightmare after their two-year-old son was bitten hundreds of times by bedbugs.
However, within 24 hours the situation deteriorated. She told MailOnline: 'Every area of his little body not covered by clothes was covered in bumps and scratches. 'It was covered in hair and sand and immediately – I mean within 20 seconds of looking – I found a living and a dead bed bug. Butlin's told MailOnline it was still investigating the case but had found no evidence of bed bugs in the apartment
'It's a lot of fun for the kids,' she said. 'Our apartment looked clean and lovely. We paid for top-end accommodation because it was by a lake and we could feed the ducks from our balcony.
