Sunday will be another scorcher after a hot night on Saturday
As a heatwave grips the nation, there’s no sign of temperatures easing over the weekend in Greater Manchester with Saturday evening expected to be a sizzling 32C. Throughout the week, conditions have become hotter and drier with no respite from the wall to wall sunshine.
According to the Met Office, conditions will stay hot and stuffy throughout Saturday evening and into the night in Manchester, with temperatures only dropping below 30C at 8pm. Overnight it will remain very warm, with a low of just 21C forecast at 4am, so it will be an uncomfortable night’s sleep for many.
Sunday is set to be another scorcher with temperatures expected to swiftly rise throughout the morning, reaching 27C by 11am and rising to 31C by 2pm. Conditions will remain sunny throughout the day with occasional cloudy spells.
