Weather maps are predicting that more snow will arrive in Yorkshire in April
We may be in spring but that doesn’t mean that the wintery weather conditions have stopped, as a flurry of snow is expected to hit Yorkshire at the start of April.
Snow maps show light snow falling in areas of North and West Yorkshire, including Huddersfield , Bradford, Skipton and Leeds at 6am on April 4. Any flurries of the white stuff are expected to be cleared by midday. But the snow won’t be gone for long as heavier showers are expected to fall across areas of West Yorkshire, including Todmorden at 6am on April 7, with up to 2 cm of snow an hour predicted.
Into the following week, another area of low pressure pushes in from the south with further unsettled, changeable weather dominating throughout. All areas are likely to see further rain or showers at times, with some drier spells in between.
