Weather will swing from cold to hot during Padres weekend home series with Dodgers [Breaking]
The weather will range from unusually cold to really hot when the Padres host the rival Los Angeles Dodgers this weekend at San Diego’s Petco Park, according to the National Weather Service.
A weak storm out of the Pacific Northwest will bring showers to San Diego County before dawn on Friday. The daytime high will only reach 62. The temperature will drop into the upper 50s by the time the game starts at 6:40 p.m. Breezy winds out of the west will make the air seem even colder. The temperature will peak at 68 on Saturday, but fall into the mid-60s by 5:40 p.m., when the second game gets underway. It’ll be in the low 60s by late in the game.
Dry offshore winds will pick up on Sunday and will push the temperature to 80 or above by the time the third and last game starts at 1:10 p.m. Winds will be light.
