Ricci would also appear in the Netflix show, portraying a new character named Marilyn Thornhill.
Wednesday Season 2 Is Poised To Expand Morticia's Role Very early on in the run of Wednesday, before the comedy-horror getting officially renewed, showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar mentioned that a key hope for future episodes would be to feature more of Morticia. Miller, in particular, noted that the series had only begun to scratch the surface with some characters.
The debut of Wednesday was helped by a seasoned supporting cast that included the likes of Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Gwendoline Christie, and Ricci. As it stands, the show's much-awaited second outing could double down on that and inspire even more creative fan art for the iconic mother-and-daughter pairing.
