A male emperor penguin, named Gus, stands on a scale after being discovered on a beach near the town of Denmark in southwestern Australia, thousands of kilometres from his home on Antarctica. An emperor penguin has never been reported in Australia before, and this is possibly the furthest north that the species has ever been seenA sea slug floats off the coast of the city of Batroun in northern Lebanon.
