A bicyclist was injured Wednesday night after being struck by a pickup truck whose driver then left the scene, West Dundee police said.
The crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. on Huntley Road between Sleepy Hollow Road and the entrance to Raceway Woods, according to a police department post on the village’s Facebook page.
No information was provided on the victim’s age, sex or town other than he was an adult nor did police return messages seeking details on how the accident occurred or the extent of the victim’s injuries.However, they did ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or they cyclist Wednesday to contact detective Mike Slager at 847-551-3810.
