West Ham fans have slammed midfielder Lucas Paqueta after his first-half yellow card in the 2-0 Europa League quarter-final first-leg defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League on Thursday .
The Brazil international has now racked up three Europa League bookings and will miss the second leg against Leverkusen at the London Stadium next week. David Moyes’ side will miss Paqueta’s influence in midfield with the former Lyon star notching eight goals and seven assists across 36 appearances in all competitions this season.Man City “will return” with a bid this summer after their previous agreement collapsed.
I love Paqueta but he’s a moron. Hard enough to beat these lot as it is and now we have to do it without him next Thursday.
