Football Insider has been told by sources that West Ham have submitted a bid for Rennes winger Jeremy Doku as he closes in on a move to Man City.

City are in pole position to clinch a deal for Doku and talks were held on Monday night as they look to secure a full agreement. Doku has already scored in his first two games for Rennes this season and scored six last term in Ligue 1.The Belgium international is rated as a wide forward of huge potential by City and he is said to have excited their scouts and recruitment team with his ability to open up defences.
