ONE of Scotland’s most iconic walking routes has been named among the best in the UK as part of a new study.
The West Highland Way has been selected as the third best hiking route in the UK and, according to researchers, it has seen a 60% uplift in online searches in the past month alone.Researchers described the walk as “challenging” but also pointed to some of the great stops which can be found along the way.
