St Kentigern’s Academy pupils have had no indoor PE facilities after RAAC was discovered
A West Lothian school that has been severely impacted by the crumbling concrete crisis is excelling despite the enormous challenges staff and pupils have faced.
Despite these challenges, the PE team have had to be versatile in their delivery of the subject and effectively design the PE curriculum to ensure participation in the subject and wider physical activity.
“The success of the St Kent’s gymnasts shines even brighter as they were challenged to develop floor routines in limited spaces, and for some students, they only had a forty-minute vaulting session prior to the competition to learn complex movements.
