Governor Abbott ordered state agencies on Tuesday to help out in response to the main water line failure.

“A significant portion of the community remains without water at this time,” the city's Facebook page said early Tuesday afternoon.City officials said Tuesday afternoon that repairs were not expected to be completed until Tuesday night, but the water was not expected to be flowing again until almost midday Wednesday. The city office will continue to be closed until 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
