Tori Yorgey of WSAZ in Huntington, West Virginia, is OK after getting hit by a car during a live report Wednesday night.
Tori Yorgey of WSAZ Channel 3 had just begun speaking with anchor Tim Irr, reporting on a water main break and road conditions, when she was hit from behind by the luckily slow-moving vehicle, the video shows. Irr, who was looking at a teleprompter, is left confused when he hears Yorgey suddenly yell “Oh my gosh!”
Yorgey goes on to say she was hit by a car in a similar fashion while in college. “I am so glad I’m OK!” she exclaims. “I thought I was in a safe spot but clearly we might need to move the camera over a bit.” Moments later, Yorgey shakes it off and returns to reporting about the water main break.
